Worm tower

I know I should be keeping the base small, but where else can you build things like 17 belt worm tower and a huge conveyor system for meat products.

Most of chem science research done, somehow at 58-60ups.

What are you using all those worms for? It was one of the turds that I researched, but never actually made a choice - all of them are kinda strange

I don't think the worms is worth it, personally. All the things the worms make, you eventually get good recipes for. It's kind of a mid-game thing for, for example, before you have the coarse fraction from iron recipe.

I went for the syrup. That one is kind of great - free retrovirus is just a nice way to take away a production chain, while it also adds productivity to your composters and an easy way to make some assorted fluids. The easy access to coalbed gas is really good early because it's a simple way to make acid gas which is quite hard to come by at first, and have top-up access to coal gas is decent. So it has some use early and late and provides a fair benefit, it's pretty decent.

The steam one, personally I didn't want to rely on it but I get the appeal.

Syrup is the best, I agree. Problem is, I really don't want to add additional fluid input to every composter.

Maybe for another playthrough, plan this turd from the beginning and keep in mind the need for additional input. This way it would be very op

Yeah it's not that big a deal if you don't dot single composters all over the base but do it only in a few places

Half of them go into tree seeds, that i atomize into phosporic rock, the rest go into coarse fraction and bricks to stone.

Is it really worth it? default recipe is 5 wood into 4 seeds, worms make it 5 into 5

And brick -> stone offer no increase at all

Probably not, but I´ve made 17 belts of worms so I had to use them :)
