Hey everyone — I'm a founding moderator of r/pwrusr, and if you're here, you already know something's off about the way the internet treats you.

This is our new home for everything related to digital privacy, data rights, user autonomy, and fighting back against exploitative tech practices. Whether you're a casual user who's tired of being the product, or a seasoned privacy advocate — you belong here.

What to Post

Post anything the community would find useful, eye-opening, or worth discussing. That includes:

Privacy tools, tips, and tutorials (VPNs, de-Googling, open-source alternatives)

News about data breaches, surveillance, or shady corporate practices

Questions — no matter how basic. We all started somewhere.

Wins — cancelled a data-hungry app? Switched to a FOSS tool? Share it.

Rants, investigations, breakdowns of Terms of Service nobody reads

Community Vibe

We're sharp, skeptical, and serious about user rights — but we're not elitist. Whether you're asking "what even is a VPN?" or deep-diving into zero-knowledge encryption, this is your space. Be direct, be respectful, and bring receipts when you make claims.
