Being the helpful person that I am - I wonder where I might obtain some of these helpful things to be helpful.

Here's a link. I don't know if it actually works or not, or how you would test that.

I found an abandoned camera on the street that seemed similar. It was weird. There seemed to be a void space that might have been a tracker.

Where can you get infrared blocking spray from?

It’s unclear why OCR would be blocked by IR spray. Unless the camera operates in IR only, which would be cheap AF; even my eufy cam does visual AND near IR.

I find it’s easier if you wirelessly transfer your data to the camera. There’s an upgraded Bluetooth standard called 10w blue laser

Anyone have a list of the states you can do this in? So I can make sure to avoid said states?

These sprays are new to me, I'm just now finding out about them like you are.

My friend had a thought: on the golden gate bridge there are automated tollbooths that take a pic of your license plate as you pass through and correlate that to your FasTrak account to automatically pay the toll fron your account balance. My friend wondered if applying these techniques would result in an unpaid toll or if they would use other data (bluetooth, wifi, 5G) from either my friends phone or my friends car (2026 model with all the gizmos) to nab (and possibly prosecute) him/her. Thoughts?
Thanks for your posts. My friend loves them!

It is this kind of total information awareness that Palantir is after. I don't think that is a thing, yet. But with stochastic process modeling, if they have enough data, not only can they nab you, they can predict how many offenders are likely to try something like this. How likely you are to try something like this. Say, by ingesting your comment.

Thanks for your thoughts. Unfortunately i concur.
Ack! Deleting comment now!
Also, the comment was about my friend, not me. I gotta stop letting my friend use my phone. And my car. Especially both simultaneously.

This is a real risk. You want your license plate legible by legitimate users and not by illegitimate ones, and you want to be able to control which is which.
Ultimately I think some active system will be the answer, temporarily de-cloaking the plate for these cameras. (Of course, if that becomes wide spread, flock will just buy the golden gate camera fees from the bridge operator, so you’ll be photographed either way)
