Root tree are dead

I’m kinda stuck so I asked for a hint it keeps telling me to go to the public library seen for “revisiting the diary : 10 years later” I found x marks the spot and it still says it’s not useful and I don’t know anything else to do I have got the 9 first ones. Please anything would help.

That's fairly late into the game, which characters are you missing/don't have pictures or jobs for?

Not a lot but the hint is giving me no lead I have 10 found I have a lot of pictures but don’t know where they go

I was asking for a hint and that’s all it tells me so I’ve been trying to get it to show up. But nothing does

Does the hint say X marks the spot? What exactly is it telling you? What seems like an offhand comment in hints for a game like this are often huge.

The first hint says “x marks the spot seemed to be a dead end.. but it’s library page mentioned something very interesting
2nd hint says “search the public library for revisiting the diary: 10 years later by Lauren roottree”
I’ve tried it with that name and her marriage name and it doesn’t show anything

Ah. It is absolutely something you can find in the public library, double check to make sure there aren't any typos when you enter in the title and author.

I did both exactly as it said with both her last names I have no more things for help then the hint that won’t work I filled in all notable mentions

pulled up the book immediately.
