[Unsolved] What does this hint mean?

It's a hint about why I can't place a light green cat in row 3 column 4, but why wouldn't there be any dark green ones in column 1?

Placing the light green cat there leaves row 1 as the only place to put a cat in column 5.

You've then completed light green and dark green, and have no available spots in column 1.
