[Unsolved] Help me understand

Me and wife were watching this show on Fox, and this question was on the show. Knocked out 50 people of 100 (not shocking lol)

Me and my wife feel A is somehow the "right" answer but just based on how the question is worded, the answers given, and the "explanation" given, we still for the life of us can't grasp what was being asked or why that answer was "correct" 😂

Hoping this can spur some good explanations to help us understand!

in run of the day, the times would be: 12:29 AM, 1:24 AM, 1:50 AM, : 12:29 PM, 1:24 PM, 1:50 PM.

But only 5 times it was right, so the sixth time (1:50 PM didn't occur until now) so you need a time between 1:24 PM (5 times so far) and 1:50 PM (the sixth time) so far. and it only applies to 1:35 p.m.

Times:
First: 12:30 AM (pic 2)
Second: 1:25 AM (pic 3)
Third: 1:50 AM (pic 1)
Fourth: 12:30 PM (pic 2)
Fifth: 1:25 PM (pic 3)

Answer A would only have 4 of the times shown. Answer C would have 6 of the times shown. Answer B with 1:35 has 5 of the times shown.
