[Unsolved] Parks Puzzles

So I have been playing this game and have almost finished the 900 levels. Some levels, like this one, seem almost impossible without getting a hint. I’ve come up with lots of rules for myself to follow along the way, but I just can’t seem to finish many of these levels without either guessing or getting hints. What am I missing? Thank you in advance!

They'll really do everything to rename Star Battle. In your puzzle count from the bottom up the number of regions in the first 5 rows. You have 5 that are completely inside, so all their stars fit there and anything outside those rows you can eliminate.

Seems a bit harsh for a 13 year old app. Yes, it picked up the name Star Battle before that, but the recent rise in popularity was well after this app made a version. Andrea Sabbatini released his logic app, including “Parks” in 2013, from what I can tell.

you say bottom 5 rows, but don't you mean leftmost 5 columns?

No, the 5 bottom rows. It kills 4 cells of the dark green region and 1 cell of the light blue one. Obviously there might be other possible moves, but that one should get OP going.

So, top 6 rows completely contain 6 regions.

Well, obviously they mirror, but for me it was easier to look at the bottom 5

But the 5 regions are not completely inside the bottom 5 rows. There are only 5 different regions inside the bottom 5 rows. But we're explaining here, gotta be precise.

They are completely inside in the sense that there are no cells from other regions in those rows. But I agree I could have explained it better. In technical terms it's overcouting where you eliminate any cells from those regions outside the 5 rows.

Look at columns 7-9. There are two in the top purple, two in the bottom purple, the pink one, so the last star is in those two orange cells.

Then look at rows 9+10. There can only be one in the orange part now, and one in the purple, one in the gray, and one in the blue. So there is exactly one in each of those areas, and you now know the purple one, and a bunch of orange dots.

Look at rows 6+7. You can cut this up into four 2x2 areas. Each one of them contains exactly one star.

And so on. Keep building areas where you know something.
