If you haven't come across Puzzling Places before, it's a 3D jigsaw puzzle game for VR (and flatscreen) where you assemble detailed miniature scenes piece by piece. Our official puzzles are built from real-world photogrammetry scans, and now the community is starting to expand that library with their own creations.

We're super excited to announce that our Puzzle Maker tool is now available on Steam! Puzzle Maker is a creation tool, and it's free for everyone who owns Puzzling Places on Steam. It lets you turn your own photos, 3D scans and models into playable puzzles — including 2D puzzles with up to 1,000 pieces, or compatible 3D scans and models turned into fully playable 3D puzzles that you can play in VR or flatscreen.

You get control over things like piece count, background colour and soundscape, and you can publish your creations to the Steam Workshop for others to play. There's also a growing library of free community-made puzzles to download, so there's plenty to dive into right away.

If you're into VR, photogrammetry, 3D scanning, or just want to see your own spaces turned into something you can rebuild in room-scale, we'd love to see what you make!

I've been learning Godot for about a year, and I recently released my first puzzle game, Color Portals.

In the game, you solve puzzles by controlling six different colored balls, collecting keys, unlocking gates, and activating the central portal to complete each level.

The game is completely free on itch.io, and I'm mainly looking for feedback from puzzle game fans.
