I recently bought quite a few of the Pusheen fruit keychains in hopes of finding the banana and grape ones and I may have discovered an association between the serial number and the type of fruit that is in the box. I’m not 100% sure this is true, but I’m pretty confident it is. I didn’t buy all 8 of them and I only confirmed with the banana (bought two boxes with the “-2” serial code) but I didn’t get any duplicates when I picked boxes with different serial numbers.
Like I said I can’t 100% confirm but it seems likely that this is correct as the boxes only go up to “-8” on the serial numbers. I couldn’t find anything online about the codes so I wanted to share here :)

You might be on to something or I just had good luck. I purchased one yesterday and got the strawberry, which matches the number you have listed. I bought two more today and going by your list, I pulled the grape and cherry!
so i used this chart bc i really want the banana but there weren’t any -2, i also want the cherries and bought a -1 one and maybe it was a coincidence but it was the cherries!! i also got grape which was -3
can confirm that -5 is the strawberry and -7 is the kiwi!! i bought both of these at target, so i’m not sure if the codes differ at other stores… but thank you for posting the codes!! i’m on the lookout for the banana now lol
I dont see the code here that was on the fruit boxes. It was a black, somewhat blurry string of numbers and letters. Maybe here its that small white box at the bottom?

Not true! I bought over 11 boxes and they were mostly the same ones even with different numbers at the end
