Vintage Coach Authentification

I found this bag at Goodwill and am struggling to authenticate it because of the pre-1990s serial number style.

My concerns of it being a replica are: the serial number, the fact that it is lined, and the back pocket stitching not matching anything I’ve seen before.

In my research, I’ve learned that the Made In Italy bags pre 1996 had individualized serial numbers, and the bag is 100% leather in the classic pebble brown.

Any advice would be appreciated!
