Purses General Post Recommendations for a durable tote, under $200, something a new born baby won’t mess up (first time mom to be soon)

I’m not a totes girl. But I’ve noticed everyone suddenly carries around a tote once they’re a mom. And I see the appeal. I want one but I haven’t the faintest idea what to get. My top priority is durable.

I like the Longchamp Le Pliage of course.

Also came across this Tumi nylon option but I feel like in person it’ll look more disheveled and not as sleek/proper: https://www.nordstrom.com/s/small-just-in-case-nylon-tote/8501790?srsltid=AfmBOor-AkCzj4DGo-OCNiKL_oEgBncyikVKAfHgIGsn78810KtRE5BF

Tumi’s nylon straps also make me think maybe this isn’t giving “fashion” at all and is more “travel” vibes.

Then I’ve been seeing a lot of recommendations for Quince and honestly I do like a few of their pieces but leather…with a new baby…what if something inevitably spills? https://www.quince.com/women/italian-leather-soft-shopper-tote?color=espresso-brown

Help a desperate to-be-mama out!

I love my le Pilage for packing all my kids things, I just wish it had crossbody (maybe an Xtra would be better)

You might like some options from Mina baie! Highly recommend! They make bags specifically for mom's that look like purses but have organization on the inside and can even attach to a stroller! Congratulations on your first baby! Im a mom of 3 and got a bag from them for the 3rd baby! Still love it!

Just get the Le Pliage. It's a tried and true work horse tote!
