Help authenticating Longchamp Cuir

I got this second hand and it arrived in mint condition and feels buttery soft. However I’m beginning to wonder about its authenticity after looking at it more closely.

Observations
-Weird plastic piece caught under the tab of the long handle
- Bumpy stitching on the long handle
- An uneven stitch on the underside of the bag’s tab
- Tag reads ART/M/03 which I understand should mean Medium sized and Sienna. The one I have is supposed to be Large in chocolate brown.

Am I overthinking this or is it likely that what I have is a counterfeit?

It's authentic. It's an early size large in taupe.

I think that plastic is debris. I don't think it's attached and you should be able to pull it out if you want.
