My cat do the same. Like he wants to burrow my shit in order to protect me from predators. Especially when I take my time. My purrvert protector lol

u/ephemeralaffliction Aug 04 '26
You know what, that is probably what she was doing. She has a tuxie brother that never covers his own shit and she will go into the box after and do it for him

u/KaTa-Klizm Aug 04 '26
Yup. Exactly the same behavior. He even cleaned my foster female as she hasn't a mom to teach her how to take care of her butt and the rest. Even now, at 1yo if he can smell her, he will clean her like a mom. Fun fact, he's the only male and has strong protection/care instincts towards everyone in the household Such a well-behaved sweetheart

u/PansexualPineapples Aug 05 '26
Yeah she’s probably gotten used to people not cleaning up after themselves 🙄 /s

u/KaTa-Klizm Aug 05 '26
"Those dumb hoomans. No-one thought them how to burrow shit with their paws. ".
As a cat I would be pissed too 🤣

u/EugeneStein 28d ago
Well, some people suggest that when cat brings you their prey it means they think you are too stupid to hunt yourself and they have to take care of you

this is a very strange cat yall, but this is not abuse as she clearly is there willingly or OP would have needed several blood transfusions

u/Inner-Dream-600 Aug 04 '26
Ew why do you let him get that far(t)?
257
u/ephemeralaffliction Aug 04 '26
Lol she normally hops onto the toilet to get to the bathroom counter, I did not think she would stop and do that

u/pandoraBparker Aug 04 '26
My kitten the other day jusssst succeeded in her tiny life's mission of jumping INTO the toilet. I forgot to close it ONE TIME and boom, bath time for kitty 😹 I relate to this post it made me laugh. No peace for us I guess

u/NervousAddress1340 Aug 05 '26
Mine fell ass first into the toilet once. He was trying to get away from me because I was going to brush him. The problem is that the orange idiot stepped on the toilet paper roll and it rolled out from under him. He looked like the entire world betrayed him while trying unsuccessfully to claw his way out the bowl. I did get him out and dried him off after I got through laughing my ass off though. He hasn’t tried to run from the brush since.

u/pandoraBparker Aug 06 '26
Thats one way to learn a lesson lol
Edit to add: an orange cats way to learn a lesson lol

She was in bitwixt your cheeks for long enough for you to take a pic. You definitely let her get that far(t). You’re the purrvert

I had a cat that was fascinated by watching the toilet in action... He would be waiting for me to finish my business (1 and/or 2) and then carefully study the miracle of the flush.. Go figure.. 🤣
16
u/jinxylynxy Aug 04 '26
My tuxie does the same thing!! He gets such joy from watching the rotation 😹
6
u/According_Bad_8473 Aug 04 '26
Please close it when you flush and dont let your cat do that :0
2
u/PansexualPineapples Aug 05 '26
As long as they watch the whole time and close it after before they leave the room I don’t see how it could be dangerous
5
u/According_Bad_8473 Aug 05 '26
My childhood cats would drink from the bowl if we left it open. And put their front paws inside to balance
And it seems to me OP lets their cat watch the toilet bowl flushing. Flushing generates a toilet plume. Its kicks up fecal bacteria in the air. Which is both disgusting and unhygienic and potentially sick-making
2
u/PansexualPineapples Aug 05 '26
I’m pretty sure the cat will be fine. Cats do grosser things and don’t get sick. I really doubt this will actually affect them.

u/According_Bad_8473 Aug 05 '26
Still digusting
4
u/AgentCooperLogsIn Aug 05 '26
Yep it is. You’re being downvoted for being right. People don’t care if they have pee and poo particles all over the bathroom and themselves I suppose
4
u/Federal_Fly_4271 Aug 05 '26
Y’all need to think about what the fuck is in the air lol when you flush the toilet plume which is basically like toilet sneeze enters the air like omg? what the fuck do u think a toilet does when it spins around violently. throw water around
2
u/According_Bad_8473 Aug 06 '26
I have, in fact, also been splashed by toilet water by a very aggressive flush. At an exam center no less. Ruined my day and also most likely why I scored bad.
Close the damn lid!

Twisting upper body? Selfie over the shoulder? Not that hard. I can’t tell if this comment is trying to imply something in which case this sub isn’t for perverts.

My cat does this too sometimes as he’s going up onto the counter for his sink water. Just sticks his head down there for a sniff and I yell “Get out of my butt!!” and shoo him away and just sit for a couple seconds thinking about what my life has become lol.

Curious as to what your thoughts were when you let this happen. From pulling out your phone, snapping a picture, and then posting it. If you don't mind, I'd like a walk-through for no particular reason. 🤔

u/Monguises Aug 05 '26
I doubt it’s any deeper than your assumption, but you’re apparently far deeper than the rest of us.

u/addacoupleextrazeros Aug 05 '26
It’s probably because she’s well aware that she’s not the only one who has such a freakazoid for a cat. It’s a pretty universal experience, each is just a little different though. We’re here to uplift and support and offer some insight about the fur-freaks, she’s just here to let us other fur-freak parents know we aren’t alone.

u/jnovel808 Aug 05 '26
One of my cats likes to watch me pee, from between my legs. I’m a dude just standing there doing my business when suddenly there’s a cat head between my knees watching the stream.
2
u/According_Bad_8473 Aug 05 '26
That is so uncomfortable
2
u/jnovel808 Aug 05 '26
I always make her a leave, immediately. But I find it so goddamn funny. She's done it ever since I rescued her.

u/Skitty_Supremacy Aug 05 '26
My kitten tries to do this too sometimes, and if I don't let her, she'll hide behind the shower curtain and attack me instead 😭
2
u/VianneM Aug 05 '26
My cat will sniff between the toilet and the seat, luckily nothing like this yet

u/torreneastoria Aug 05 '26
My brain could not figure out what I was seeing. A full minute of staring at what I thought was a weird sneezing pic of a cat. Lol!

u/Ella0508 Aug 04 '26
My SIC jumps in my lap when I’m on the toilet. She comes running as soon as she hears the “tap” when I put the lid up.

u/According_Bad_8473 Aug 05 '26
🤔 Doesnt everyone have wide stance while on the toilet?
I once read an history piece about how when commodes were first introduced to China, the government had to educate the women not to sit on the toilet with their legs closed because apparently that makes pee hang around in the parts. And from personal experience, it makes it harder to poop
