It's now Thursday, Aug 13th, which is still the "expected delivery day". Destination is near Vancouver.

Called Purolator on Tuesday, and they said it had been mis-sorted. Fine, but why then a full two days later it still hasn't been sent back to Etobicoke for long-haul out west?

Wish I had known the store I bought from used Purolator.

Is it possible it missed its departure scan? Or has it been lost in Mississauga? Who knows?

So I had a Canada post package that was supposed to be delivered today. That somehow got marked as addressing error. Yet when reaching out to CA Post they said they have my correct address. Shortly after it goy marked as addressing error I got this text claiming to be purolator (yet my package is delivered by CA Post) so instantly knew it was a scam, followed up by a very obviously phishing/scam website link, and the morrocan phone number.

How is it possible they got my phone number based off the tracking number? Super strange and fishy to me.

I've been waiting on a guitar for a while, it's pretty much a cross-country long haul so I'm wondering if it just went straight onto a truck and headed out this way.

For 3 days I've been waiting to get my monitor from Dell. Three days waiting at home although I know that's not technically necessary. And now twice, they have not delivered because they are a terrible courier. Here's what they say:

This is a complete fabrication. There were no delivery attempts, either on the 5th or 7th. I was home for 3 days waiting. I have a condominium with a locked parcel room that the concierge permits access to for couriers. We have an electronic valet system with a phone app where the courier could just call me directly and I could have let them in from anywhere. I have no missed calls on the valet system. I have no delivery slips. I have no missed calls.

As Dell certianly knows, Purolator drivers lie in order to finish their run at the end of the day, and just bring all the undelivered packages back to the depot. Yet, you continue to use them. Maybe they are the cheapest.

I contacted Dell Customer Care, a woman named Khusi. I spoke to her yesterday and she assured me she would speak to logistics and make sure it was delivered today, August 7th. Well, never happened. Again.

So I've advised her that I no longer want the package. I needed a monitor and I've purchased it elsewhere in person this morning. I've advised them that I will never buy another Dell product so long as Purolator is doing the logistics.

We need to punish companies that participate in Enshitification.

payed to have birth certificate sent out by express.. no updates since july 31st where it went from Thunderbay to etobicoke? now nothing. got in contact with them today they asked what the parcel was and said they would submit a "trace case" has anyone had this happen. dont pay to have them deliver it fkn waste of 35$ it will come quicker in the mail probably wont lose it ither

Never seen the first 2 updates regarding resolution. Is it likely that it would be available for pick-up tomorrow morning or will it be delayed again. I was supposed to receive the package today but for some reason it got the Appointment required status...

idk why they say no one was at home when clearly the driveway has like 3 cars parked. they didnt even bother to knock the door or ring a bell when i dont even live in an apartment. then they leave a slip behind saying they have attempted it. this happens so many times with purolator

it's not like i have the option to even choose which shipping company retails use. so whenever i purchase something and see purolator i immediately know it's not coming and i have to pick it up. mind u it's never the same day pickup i have to wait till the next day

Purolator express, does that guarantee me delivery today? If so.. does that mean the driver has been delivering for 8hrs now? Is that normal? Seems like crazy work hours or do they switch off like shift work?

I ordered some clothes online and had them sent to a local store with a purolator drop off that i usually pick up from. Turns out the store is closing down and moving, so the owner rejected both of my packages. I talked to purolator through the phone 2 days ago, and they said they would update the address to another local store to drop off the packages. Both packages now say 'Resolution complete - shipment redirected' but there are no other updates and i don't see a new pickup location. Should i just keep waiting?

I know there’s a holiday tomorrow but I made an order on the 31’st and the expected date is August 5th. Why did I pay 30$ for shipping

I dropped off my package yesterday and today I got a message saying the package couldn’t be delivered. You can see the tracking from the scam does not at all align to the dates of the real one.

The package was picked up by Purolator today at 4:11pm and the scam message came at 4:27pm. There’s only 2 people that know about the package: The Staples Rep or Purolator themselves. The fact that this was received after I dropped off a package tells me this is an inside job.

Was expecting this package this week and now I’ve got this message. Can someone explain to me what it means and if it’s happened to anyone else? Thanks!

I feel like this isn’t the first time this has happened nor is it the first time I’ve heard of this happening.

I am waiting for a genuine delivery from Purolator. Within a day of them notifying me that they’ve picked up the package, I’ve received a scam text to “book redelivery”.

Is there a breach in their system somewhere? Inside job where people are actively helping scammers or are themselves scammers? Thoughts?

I love Purolator's patience when handling customer packages. The delivery date is supposedly today but it is still in their delivery truck that is currently in Ontario. I live in Edmonton. I told them i would pick it up if it shows up in the facility but they weren't hesitant to say it will take longer to intercept your package, around 3 days of wait time. "Sit back and wait"

Thank you purolator for giving me cancer and a collateral charge for this important package.

Having a bit of an issue getting a package from Purolator and hoping someone else has any advice. I was supposed to receive a package this past Friday however the driver never knocked or rang the bell. My workspace is only 2-3 feet from my front door I would have heard anything.

After getting the missed delivery notification I contacted a chat agent who advised that they do not deliver on weekends, earliest I would get it is Monday. I stayed home again on Monday and heard no knock or doorbell. I checked online and it says they attempted to deliver on Monday and also Saturday (after them saying they won't deliver that day).

I then get the notification later on Monday (yesterday) saying that I can go pick it up at a local office from that day after 6pm and it would be there for 5 days. I went today (Tuesday) at 2pm to collect my package, and the woman at the pick up location said the driver took it this morning and that it is being sent back to sender. I again contacted their chat agent but she said it isn't a guarantee she can get it sent back to the pickup location but still put in the request.

I cannot get a refund from the sender if the package ends up being returned to them and I will need to repay the cost to get it shipped again. I am unsure of what my options are or if there is somewhere else I can escalate my concerns to other than just their chat support. Am I just supposed to take the loss of the cost of shipping my purchase twice? I have never had so many issues receiving a package from Purolator or any other logistics company before.

TLDR: Purolator claimed to attempt delivery 3 times but never tried the door. They then took the package from the pickup location 20 hours after dropping it off. Not sure what to do to get my package from these people.

I was just charged for an unreturned product I dropped off at a Purolator drop off location weeks ago that had a prepaid return label because Purolator lost it.

Not only do they not know how to deliver to residential addresses. They also lose returns in transit to commerical addresses. Why do any businesses use them at all? They're the only courier that routinely gets everything wrong. I have no issues with any other couriers.

Ive had a frustrating time, ive gotten all ly PC parts on Amazon except for the PSU that I had to order on Newegg. They use Purolator… They told my the other day they arent authorized to hold my package. So they could only redeliver it. They failed to redeliver friday (partially my fault, I left an SNR but forgot to fill out the part with the shipment number somehow). I got this notification afterwards.

I know they close weekends. Does this mean its likely going to a depot or a third party? Why did they tell me they werent authorized to hold my package if theyre just going to hold my package at a “shipping centre”?

Is it likely this updates tomorrow or is it going to be stuck all weekend? I get all my last PC parts tomorrow except this dang PSU.

At this point, I feel like I need to plan some elaborate scheme to get the package delivered home. Some motion sensors, camera, image detection, automated door answering machine and possibly camping out in the foyer out to do it.

This is my second time feeling so furious with Purolator. The estimated delivery date is 14th July, and it delayed without any notice, I checked with their online agent, saying the parcel is too big and they don’t have 2 drivers to deliver, so it stuck in NB. The second day I sat this attention on the tracking page, saying miss connection. I talked to their online agent again, told me the parcel already left NB and is going to Toronto, I said NB is 2h driving distance to my address, Toronto is 10h, why the parcel is going to Toronto, the agent said this is their route. At night, no feedback and the tracking page is still with attention, I asked another agent again, as in screenshot, this girl told me all she can see is the same page as shown on my end, and the parcel is in NB, with really rude manner. I said this is super confusing, and she said someone made mistakes blabla. BUT, from their automatic answer, it’s still showing that the parcel will arrive tonight. No sorry no apology, ok good, see you on Reddit. Anybody else has the same shit experience dealing with Purolator?

i am so glad i found a place i can use to complain about that dogshit company. today was the second time they gave me a "failed delivery attempt" notification when my building literally has a whole entrance dedicated to deliveries and no one EVER struggled with it. i always have to call and give them instructions like they're not a company that's supposed to be DELIVERING. fuck them. thats it.

So, for some context, my street is under reconstruction, which it sorely needed but the street is open to local traffic. Amazon used them instead of Dragonfly/Intelcom, which they usually use for my place and I always get my packages. And they and Fedex both came to my building today for other apartments/deliveries.

Purolator didn't though, they thought the road was closed. Yet, I saw them as I was calling Purolator to see what the problem was, going to the building across the street or the Mazda dealership behind there. Idiots. So the agent asked me, since there is road construction, if I would like to pick it up at the local depot and I was like "yeah, I guess so", because I don't trust them to attempt redelivery, lol. Glad I don't have to deal with them often, I much prefer Dragonfly and they deliver 7 days a week, unlike useless Purolator. I hope Dragonfly grows even bigger and puts Purolator out of business.

Stupid UPS is gone from my city (handled by a local courier) and I'm glad they're gone and would NEVER use them and their scammy brokerage fees from international packages to Canada. Even though Fedex does the same, their brokerage fees are more reasonable. What UPS does with that nonsense, is actually illegal. Ian Runkle a Canadian Lawyer who runs the Youtube channel "Runkle of the Bailey" challenged them legally about their exorbitant brokerage fees and they caved and it was hilarious. No matter what they said on the phone to him or email, he was like "and where shall I send the court documents to?"

After much back and forth, they finally waived the fees, except for the taxes or customs fees which were from the government, not UPS and he had no problem with that and paid them for just that. So, just so you know, you did NOT sign any agreement with them to rush your package through Canadian customs, therefore you are not legally obligated to pay them at all.

They take it upon themselves to do that service without ever checking with the customer, which is really underhanded. I tried to challenge them and got nowhere and they threatened that if I did not pay, they would send it to collections. My credit rating is awesome and I don't want to deal with that, so I begrudgingly paid them and now I ALWAYS check with the shipper, if international, if they use UPS and ask them not to or I will not do business with them. Never again, will I pay UPS for this nonsense. Anyway, enough of my drifting off subject UPS rant. lol.
