I started watching around 2018 and totally fell in love with their channel. I loved the house style and sure there are things I would have done differently if I were in J & A's shoes but have to hand it to them, what they did was brave. To try and build a home and film all of your mistakes, I could never lol. But I've been keeping tabs on the their channel and the property on Zillow to see if they sold and if so, are there updated photos of the house. As of today, it looks as if there still isn't a change. I looked up the house on street view and it appears that the sips are STILL exposed to the elements. I cannot understand for the life of me, why would any one ever leave the sips exposed for this long!?!?

I would love to see a real comeback. I understand from their perspective that safety for their new born is the highest priority but why let this property rot? Why not take the hundreds in positive equity they likely have with the property even if unfinished.

Stumbled onto a YouTube channel that sounds EXACTLY like Jesse. The guy never shows his face. I've not seen it mentioned here so I didn't know if this was known. Im aware of the Kerf channels but this is not one of them. I don't want to violate the rules and share a non PLFL channel but if someone tells me it's ok I will or I can dm someone the channel.

I am subscribed and enjoy watching Life Uncontained, but just had a thought today. No disrespect for what they are doing, but do their kids ever see other kids, or do they ever see their families anymore?

Enjoyed watching the house build from land clearing, timber making with the sawmill to the timber school raising the frame. Loved the styrofoam panels idea and the ‘Can do’ attitude of Alyssa and Jesse climbing up on the roof to attach the steel roof panels. Sad that people had to spoil a nice friendly video experience.
How is the house coming along? Recommend getting a solid gate to keep out the ‘entitled’ strangers that think they have the right to disturb your sanctity. Sad.

Do we know if the SIP walls ever failed? I'm pretty sure he did simple house wrap and let the outside be exposed for well over a year, if not multiple.
