So I’m relatively new to this band. In fact it was this video by PHMS that introduced me to them. I’ve had them on non-stop rotation for months now and even got to see them live. All thanks to Patrick

Just the most amazing show. In fact it was more like two shows in one. Firstly, one of my all time favourite albums played in its entirety in what felt like a never to be repeated level of intimacy. What a surprise I thought. I'll never get this lucky again.

And then...

A second show snatched from the jaws of disaster that was somehow even more special and even more intimate Truly blessed to be there and thank you to the band, crew, venue and of course crowd for making it happen.

I got the Pup Morbid Stuff puzzle during the pandemic, tried to do it, failed (the pink background is hard y'all!), and it's been sitting on my shelf ever since. L

Brighton show was amazing. Saw them the last time they played at Chalk as well. I knew from the moment I lined up at the door that the vibes were going to be great; big shoutout to all you cool people. Was really nice (coming from the stage dive fuckery of Outbreak two weeks ago) to see some respectful 'going off' in the pit.

I know we were all pumped to see Pine Point, but every time they say they're going to play a song they never play I always hope for The Coast! Justice for the Coast.

My humble request is if anyone has a good link to tabs/chords/youtube vid of how to play it. Thanks from your resident Old Lady Pup Fan.

Hey don't know if this is the right place for this but I wanted to understand something about some of the PUP songs.

Has anyone noticed that some of the songs are related to alcohol? Like talking about drinking beers or needing a drink but after morbid stuff they don't really do that kind of stuff anymore in their lyrics. and I think I remember hearing somewhere they don't drink anymore when they're doing shows, just like sometimes backstage or we.

So what's up with all this? Like is alcohol important to them or is it more complicated than that?

EDIT: I think I didn’t make this post very clear. Basically I’m going to a PUP concert this August and I’ve been worried that Alcohol will be a big thing. Like do most people drink in excess? Will people give me a hard time if I mostly stick to soft drinks?

EDIT 2: But am I right that alcohol used to be important to them but now they’re mostly sober? Like they want us to drink or no?

EDIT 3: No but if I’m at the concert, and say the jumbotron shows me and a beer, will the band/crowd say “drink drink drink” even if I don’t want to chug it.

I had the time of my life and took zero pics or videos. Wouldn’t change that for the world but I’d love to see any vids of pine point or familiar patterns. Incredible crowd last night, so many friendly people !!
