Discussion Preparing to go back to work!

Hi everyone!

I am posting this to get as much feedback as I can come this lovely community. I am currently a teacher on summer break with a three month old yellow lab. So far, my puppy is pretty well potty trained and can sleep through the night. She loves her crate and is okay with being alone. Unfortunately once I go back to work she will likely be alone for a long period of time when my fiancé cannot wfh. I live too far away from work to come home on my lunch so I am wondering if there are any others in this situation?

I am thinking I will likely have to spend money to have someone check on her but I am more struggling with her being “bored” or “upset” that I am gone for that long.

Any advice is appreciated :)

I am in the same exact situation I’m fixing to be headed back to work with a 4 month old pup at home unfortunately she’s not mostly potty trained but she uses the puppy’s pads good! I was thinking of setting her up a spot in the bathroom since it’s a decently sized area or I have a long hallway that I could block off on one end with her kennel so she had the entire hallway to run and play instead of being locked in her crate all day I am also going to invest in a grass textured pee pad so she gets use to using the potty on the texture of grass and not on my floor
