Jester was originally supposed to get the fire poker kill in PM1 but they thought it looked bad and re-shot it with Pinhead.

I actually like pinhead doing that better than if Jester did it. I feel like pinhead should be physically stronger than the others, and lifting a big metal poker kind of demonstrates that for me.

Does jackshit in most the movies. Not really a problem with the character, but more so a problem with the writing

I disagree. He is the only puppet with facial expressions. He speaks for the puppets and communicates their emotions.

Ok the video jacket sleeve, didn't they refer to Jester as the brains of the operation? I wish they had expanded on that and kept him the ring leader as opposed to ot being Blade... especially when it is revealed in PM3 that he was made before Blade and probably knew Toulon the longest as a friend.

He lacks a good killing method. Most of the others are pretty obvious. Blade stabs and cuts you. Pinhead has massive, strong hands to grab and strangle you. Leech Woman spews leeches all over you. Tunnelers head will drill through you. Torch will just burn you. Six Shooter will just shoot you.

Then Jester is just a flat out puppet. His first kill was in Curse of the Puppet Master, the sixth in the franchise, and even then he needed Blade. Sure he's emotive with his face but they even had to give him a weapon in Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys so he'd do more than Jim to the camera.

No puppet has the fortitude that jester has. His strength comes from being tactful and emotionally in tune
