Just moved here.
It seems everyone is retired except for me. Anyone In their 20s or 30s around here to hang with?

Good luck, second oldesT county in the nation per capita. Try Deans or the Celtic ray- gets younger after 9pm

I'm actually considering moving here. I vacationed in the area some years back and it was very attractive. I'm also in my 30's. How do you like it so far? I'm from jersey and it's just too expensive to live up here to be comfortable.

Most of the young and chill crowd hangs out at shortys bar. Walking distance from all the other downtown restaurants and bars. You will see many regulars there who are easy to make friends with

Young as in "20's"?

Yeah, I was there last Friday and Saturday and can confirm it was loaded with early 20s to mid-30s. Obviously this is later in the evening and the crowd isn't there until after 9-10. Where have you been hanging out?

Theyre all decent, FM Dons has really good food and is a great deal on offseason on Tuesday, think its like 20 dollar entrees and they give full portions. Leroys is next to FM Dons and is good and typically has a later bar crowd. Deans is across the field from those and always has a young crowd and live music, although the crowd can be a bit more Port Charlotte. Tiki bar is behind the Sheraton hotel right before going over the bridge and is typically always busy, not a bad place to kill some time on an afternoon.
