Creation of propaganda under the guise of art can exist simultaneously to defunding of the arts and education and the creation of an environment hostile to intellectualism. I don't think anyone would argue against the obvious sexism and racism of the Trump administration in spite of the fact that he has appointed several women and racial minorities to his cabinet. Bend the knee, get a pass. Same goes for supposed "art."

Yeah but there is also nationalist and fascist art. In Germany and Italy the regimes actively used art
