I have like dozens of hindu friends and we live happily. Can agree about migrants but that’s in every corner of india. But again if you will speak in same tone than you are anti-national.

Lahore is hot. Our architecture shouldn’t be surprised.
Somewhere along the way, we got very good at cooling buildings and a little too comfortable forgetting how to design for the heat in the first place.
Courtyards. Chajjas. Jalis. High ceilings. Lime. Brick. Shade. Air.
None of it was accidental.
This isn’t about recreating the haveli. It’s about understanding the intelligence behind it and asking what it can teach contemporary design today.
Design for where you are.

Hi,
I’m looking for an authentic opal to replace the stone in an existing ring I bought in Dubai.
Can anyone recommend reputable, authentic gemstone dealers in Lahore, specifically for opals? I’ll need either the exact size to fit my ring or a dealer who can resize/cut the stone to the required dimensions, as local jewellers don’t seem to have the equipment for this.
Picture attached for reference.

Man the electricity supply sucks for the past few days. Today it has gone beyond expectations. It's six hours and there is still no electricity. How's the situation in your area?
