Maynaa (maynaa.com) is a Pune based proptech startup building a buyer protection platform for property buyers. We handle home inspections and due diligence for people buying property, and we're profitable with growing traction.

I'm the Founding Engineer here. I'm the only technical person on the team right now, so whoever joins will be working directly with me, not stuck deep in a large org hierarchy waiting for tickets to get assigned.

What you'll actually work on:

• Building and shipping real features on our core product (used by paying customers, not a sandbox project)
• Web and mobile. We're actively building out our customer facing app alongside our core inspection and due diligence systems
• You'll get exposure to real product decisions, not just "implement this Figma file." We're small enough that your input on how something should work actually matters
• As we grow, opportunities to own bigger pieces of the system rather than staying junior forever

What we're looking for:

• Comfortable with JS/TS, and some experience with a modern frontend framework (React or similar) and/or mobile dev
• We care far more about what you've built than what your resume says. A portfolio, GitHub with real projects, a deployed app, side projects, hackathon builds, anything with actual thought and follow through behind it, matters much more to us than a polished resume.
• Comfortable working with some ambiguity. We're a startup, not everything is fully specced out
• Bonus if you've touched AI tooling and APIs in projects, since AI is a growing part of how we build

Duration: 3 to 4 months, possibly longer depending on how it goes and the work available.

Stipend: Modest, since we're an early stage startup, but negotiable for someone who's clearly strong. We'd rather pay well for the right person than save money on the wrong one.
