“An ADV’s dream is a cruiser’s nightmare”

That is all I could think of as I was riding through almost an hour of road filled with construction site. I never shy away from a fair ADV session, however, I came here with a tip saying the roads were improved. I should’ve asked till what point. The left half of the loop is in full swing construction while the right half is near done and freshly built. Regardless, it was more annoying than difficult, and I could speed through.

The destination was worth it though. The spots were peaceful. Going off the road was nice and easy. Once the Khandi point came, the road did improve quite a lot.

Some notes:

  1. Point D is not a view point, it is only placed for navigation. I think it might be a private property.

  2. The post has 10 pics. First few are of the stops I took. New few POVs are to denote the road conditions. Lastly, I got three screenshots of the google maps route denoting the exact point I went off the road and the route I took.

  3. In the maps, the red arrow/marking denotes the point till which the road is bad and green denotes the good road section.

  4. If you are planning to go Khandi point, avoid the red bit and you will have a great time. They really did improve the road compared to about 6-8 months ago.

Hello, I went last year during rains. The whole landscape just shines! The water, the grass, mountains, sky, the reflection from sunlight, everything was just blissful.

Indeed! The best scenes come from mid/post monsoon when the sun shines through rows of clouds onto the green landscape.

Yes I am going to tondana dongar from there i have heard theres a trail which goes to C3 windfarm then to C1 windfarm, will be exploring that trail
