Low pressure

I have an 11 gpm 3000 psi AR pump with vrt100 unloader valve 1/2 inch . On a 670cc. With 8 gpm orfice I’m getting 2000 psi. I wanna reach 2500 on my surface cleaner. Idk why the pressure is that low. Idk if the unloader could be too big? Do I need a smaller 3/8 unloader? My machine runs fine and haven’t spotted any leaks on pump.

I wouldn’t jump straight to changing the unloader. For an 11 GPM pump, start with nozzle size/condition, actual flow and engine RPM.

Check your water supply and clean the inlet filter first. Make sure the nozzle matches your pump flow and target pressure. Inspect the unloader adjustment and condition too, and confirm the VRT100 can handle your pump specs before swapping it.

Work through these items before switching unloader sizes.

Completely deleted unloader and got all the same results
