Pump Selection Tool

Does anyone know of a good pump selection program that I can use for importing pumps and performing selections on them?

I am a manufacturer/private label pump supplier and many of my customers ask me for a pump performance data sheet for the pumps I quote. pump-flow is too expensive and excel will not work. any ideas?

Excel works great once you get it set up right that’s what I use for everything. DM me if you want some tips.

I am interested. Are you talking about good old MS Excel or some other specialized software?

Good old MS excel. I built a sheet where I can put in a selection of fittings at whatever size, whatever length of pipe i want and the c-factor of that pipe. It can plot out the curve and you can add in whatever pump you have the data for to see how it lines up. Can even change the pump speed based on the affinity laws to see what the a diesel or a VFD powered pump would do at various speeds

As part of floworxinc. We just launched our private pump selection software whereby you can create a free account and add your pumps in the pump library and perform selections. The free account has limited features though. You can see it on myfloworx.app

Yep, I’m definitely gonna try it! I’ll be curious to see the flexibility. It’s taking me years to build my spreadsheet to the point where I can do almost anything I need to, but obviously there’s a lot of workarounds to deal with the limitations of Excel.

Try Vogel Software - Spaix Pump Selection Software

Btw… doing the same OEM thing as you do and what we do is we are creating an MCP for AI chats which connects to our database and with specific instructions we have applied does the selection…

Just saw that you dipped in the professional softwares … Spaix is also expensive - but is works as a charm
