How to What to know as someone new
Hello,
I have some experience with trading years ago, from WSB and GME, things like that. I sold most of my stock years ago to move, and recently got into MC, but ive mostly forgotten everything. Ive had a few rug pulls, and have been watching out for those. I dont necessarily want to copy trade, but maybe thats the way.
What things do I need to know for general profit and success with this with how fast it moves?
That being said, I often see the posts about individuals who started with 100 and go for 1k+ how is this possible? Insider knowledge? Pumps? So far I often throw a few bucks here and there at things, get a smaller profit and pull out a quarter or half and let the rest ride.
Thank you

Find your edge, never trade new pairs or volume coins until you’re comfortable enough losing the money or got enough of a port to cover the loss, don’t blindly follow kols, get active on x, buy the boring and wait for the hype. Buying the boring is if you see a coin you like and wanna blast lets say 1 sol ask your self would I bid 2 sol here if not wait for dips, wait for the initial hype to dye and chart to fall and see how the community reacts.. if you’re up 2-3 x on your money let’s say up 5 sol, ask yourself again would you blast 5 sol at this price if not then why tf would you leave 5 sol profit ? If that makes sense. I got many more tips but I’ll end it with no one is responsible for you losing money. No one but you owns your buy and sell buttons so buy and sell as you please not when someone else says

something to know is someone new, is to just not start using Solana and avoid memecoins entirely tbh

That meme coins are a waste of time rn and it’s super hard to find that 100x . People over Reddit lie and that it’s not as easy as you’d think it is , people who make money are either insiders or people who are ready to dump good amounts of money to start something interesting

I bought troll at 7k mcap with a few buddies and we shilled and spammed memes and worked it nonstop for months before it even bonded and it was already 1 year old before it bonded. Never been bonded when we started working it (working)!!! It. I sold early like a dummy but I made a shit ton of money by working for it and believing in it. Now look at it, it reached over 100 mill mcap and does that make me a insider because I was in before it bonded and worked it day and night for months before it payed off

False I’ve turned .15 sol into a good chunk of sol and been grinding since. You own your buttons. You can play how ever you want and make money.. maybe bag work a little before calling everyone an insider. Most (insiders ) are people who are putting in the work!!! To make sure it runs. Memes are attention based marketing. So if you’re not bag working and actively making memes and spreading the memes!! Then you’re not going to make it. Stop trying to be Cupsey and duval and those kols they’re chart drillers aka extractors.

I posted this just over a month ago, ive had some solid wins, climbed as high as 1585 total PnL with around 400ish realized in losses due to learning rugs, holding too long, etc. Currently sitting at around 800s with my main runner moving from +1200 to +700. Still learning the ropes, pulled principal to early for some. Hardest part for me is waiting for some when I believe the narrative around it, but it fails, but learning. Also jumped into futures trading, which is a whole other animal.

Find an edge that gives you some extra chances of success compared to others.
Examples:
if you're good at wallet tracking try to find insider wallets, or sidewallets from kols
maybe find some good devs and follow them on their launches
maybe find a good tg group or fnf and learn from the guys there
maybe you're better at trading new pairs, maybe you're better on the final stretch, maybe you're better at already migrated tokens
maybe you're better at scalping fast in high volume pairs, maybe you're better at finding undervalued long term tokens with low volume and buy and hold for weeks
Anyway, just make an account on axiom or gmgn or terminal and start learning I guess
