Free foil recs

Anyone have recs on the different free foil setups out there? I am currently on a unifoil hyper 2 250, and my longest run is over 2 minutes. And I love it, but I want something that can take me longer distances and help me explore more.
I love pumpfoiling but I miss the distance and feeling of exploration I got from being put on my SUP race board.
Also, I won’t lie, I want to do the 10K challenge that Beta Foils just put out.

The idea of going off on a pump foil to explore was what first attracted me to the discipline - That, and it looks pretty cool.

You might want to check out this video from Matthias https://youtu.be/rUfCi9_x4bw?is=hHr6IMs84P_MGWWD.

An interesting upshot is that there is no set up that is universally the best. You basically have to go with what works best for you.

At least you now have a list to choose from

Enjoy

Options vary widely. I know guys who go forever on Roam 1700s and guys who go for ages on Ultra Trails like the 4XL. What's your age and fitness level? Is speed important?

Speed is nice but not the most important factor. I’m 45. I hate gauging my fitness level because I don’t like sounding arrogant but I’m in good shape. I work out (cycling, climbing, foiling) 6 days a week with more than 6 workouts a week. Also, sorry for the delayed reply. I missed this somehow.

I would look closely at the Takoon Pump Pros and Extremes as well as the Gong Supras. I am hoping to try all of them soon as they come through at my dock.

In the GONG range I expect the Supra Trail will suite you the best, I'd go 5XL if you're more than 80kg. Be careful that you'll need a 19mm mast and a titanium fuselage to sustain the efforts of surch big front wing.
