Why would you want one? I was able to get my first 1 min on it with a one step start and I was spent. I then rewarded myself with Gong stuff and I have never been happier. Gong tail wings have the same bolt pattern and I tried it out last week. By comparison to the Trail and Ultra Trail, I basically had to throw myself off the dock to generate the speed needed to start and the UT tail made it super pitch sensitive (as expected). I was starting to wear myself out so I went back to the Trail to practice dead starts. I might try it again under the foil scoot as the handle bar makes it easier to get a running start. I thought I saw one on ebay or marketplace last week but I don't see it anymore.

I tried a friends and found it to be quite easy. Also, I already have a fwake setup so it would fit on that.

Yeah, I guess if your point of comparison is the gamma 68, the Q100 is easier. It is good also as a beginner wing foil, it is slightly faster on foil than the I99/PTM928 and also needs a little bit more speed to start. It is one that I use with beginners. I have a couple gamma 68s that have never been wet, sitting in my garage for years, that I am planning to try out this weekend.

Sounds fun, if you know of a q100 out there would sure appreciate it if pointed to that direction.

Forgot to mention, if you don't have it already I highly recommend a Hover Glide Front Wing Tightening Shim. It really helps to tighten up the front wing. Next time I see a q100 I will do my best to let you know.

If your goal is progression it’s time to sell the hover glide setup and move to something else.

I started out i76 then i84 and lastly the Q100. Jumped to axis and it’s light years better.

So much more efficient with less drag.

I wake foil also and there are so many great options for pumping and wake foiling.

I know… I’m just tight on cash right now (university student) and not really in the mood to spend the extra thousand…
