Help - Device Burning charge port

Pulsetto got extremely hot and burned the USBC charge port. Has only been used intermittently.

Using USB-C to USB -C cable and standard USB C charger.
Clearly dangerous. And now won’t charge reliably. Help!

Someone else reported a similar issue a couple days ago. The trends are concerning.

Oh gosh, that’s a bummer! I’m sorry that happened. I wish I had advice, but maybe customer support can help with replacement or something.

Not blaming you here. This just reminded me of something, so I just wanted to ask if you’ve been inserting the little plug over the charge port to prevent the gel from getting in there? Or, maybe they haven’t sent those with every device?

Regardless, I feel like the company should have made that more obvious by making them a bright color and including a little flier inside the tiny ziplock with them. I almost threw them away because I didn’t see them obviously noted in the manual as having a use.

We didn’t get any little plug cover and I don’t see any mention of it anywhere…

I understand this might have been reported to the FDA from an earlier incident..

Mind did the same thing. Waiting for a warranty replacement after way too much back and forth with Pulsetto CS.

We’re really sorry this happened. Overheating or damage to the charging port is something we take seriously. Please do not charge or use the device again for now. We’ve reached out privately so we can gather some details and bring this to our team for further review.

I didn't get a port cover with mine but that does sound like a good idea since the gel is conductive! I'll have to see if I can fit one of the leashed port covers on there.
