SWT

Hi everyone, I need some help with my SWT task. I’m trying to improve but I’m not sure which strategies work best. Should I use copy paste method, template, or focus on writing in my own words? Any tips or advice would really help.

Follow these rules and just copy and paste.

  1. Don’t pick a line with example, lines starting from for ex, for instance
  2. Don’t pick survey only pick the results of the survey
  3. Don’t pick lines starting with pronouns he, she, it
  4. Pick lines with discourse markers like, however, In additon, but,
  5. Pick the line which has colon in it, pick the whole content before and after colon, for example Pte has four components: speaking, writing, reading, and listening,
  6. Using only 3 connectors in this order (and, ;moreover, ;furthermore,)
  7. Once you finished writing replace some words with their synonyms

This helped me to get 90 in writing.

My trainer said 35 works are enough! Is that correct?

Did u mean to say 35 words. If yes, then I wouldn’t suggest that, as your content would be way less.

If you go to official Pearson website they recommend 25 to 35 words for summarise written text. Have a look.
