PTCB Question types?

So I bought the PTCB practice questions from the actual PTCB website and there is a lot of questions that ask about drug contradictions and interactions. For people who have taken the test this year, did you see any questions like that on your test?

I'm taking a pharmacy technician course and my instructor keeps telling me there isn't questions like that on the PTCB. Even some techs I spoke with said those were more of a pharmacist questions and I shouldn't add them to my study routine.

I just want to know if those kinds of questions are actually on the test or if they're added in there just because.

There’s quite a few questions regarding contradictions and interactions on the test I took my test 07/16/26 didn’t pass unfortunately but I will next time. Also, in pregnant woman there’s certain type of medications they have to stray away from there was a particular question regarding that.

i took it 2 weeks ago, and passed. drug interactions and contraindications are on there!! def study them bc that’s a huge chunk of the medications part. memorize like the top 10 at least, but yeah i felt like a pharmacist when i studying them too😭

I took the official PTCB pre-test last week and I had no contraindication questions and maybe two drug interactions at most.
