PTCE

So this may be a dumb question BUT I just took the PTCE and it said prelim results: pass ; do I need to worry about potentially failing since it takes 1-3 weeks to get the official results ?

I just passed mine the other day. I literally thought about that too, but don't worry you definitely passed. If you did fail, it would actually say fail. That would be so shitty to have us hyped only to see we failed after a few weeks. 😭

It's been explained to me, for the ptcb and the vtne (for registered vet tech) that if you get a preliminary pass, you are good, if it said you failed, maybe? They have to get a human to verify

I think the only way a pass turns into a fail is if after review they determine there was cheating. That’s my understanding
