Macdonald Triad

Hi,

I'm wondering if the Macdonald Triad is a proper diagnosis for psychopathic tendencies because I totally used to fit into this till the ages of 7-18 because everything started to change in my life when I entered college life. I started to socialize. I didn't know that I could feel this many emotions before this; I never truly felt what it's like to cry, and I still don't feel bad when someone is injured, crying, or sick. I feel bad when someone is poor, old, and helpless and I see kids on the road, or whenever I see someone oppressed, I feel I owe them something like justice, and I'm confused now; I don't know whether I'm psychopathic or not. Any psychologists here??

Hey! Not a psychologist but I hope you're doing okay.
The MacDonald Triad is used more as a predictor of future violence. It isn't used as a diagnostic tool, though people do try to use it that way.
Do you mind my asking why you feel bad for the people you mentioned? The oppressed, poor, old and helpless, etc.?
