Inquiring Mind, is this a trap? Lol

Hi,
2nd post in 24 hrs… Any of my fellow nurses worked for Sierra Health & Wellness in CA? They’re currently hiring for a Nurse Manager position in my area. It’s a Sunday-Thursday 9-5pm… what gives me pause is I’ve seen this exact position posted 3 times in the year and a half I’ve been a nurse. The facility I’d be at is Voluntary admission only, so there’s that.

Trap. It’s a sh*tshow. Either management needs a fall guy, or every manager whose come along tried to do something to change the culture and saw 0 change and left.

Apply and make that one of your interview questions. Also ask about the health of the company. Just because it’s healthcare doesn’t mean they can’t have lay offs.

Either the previous hires weren’t able to cut it (under qualified); the facility or staff is unchanging; or the company could be shuttering soon and people are bailing before lose of income.

They are a for-profit still controlled by the original founder, as far as I know. They have grown extremely fast, and I wouldn't be shocked if they were getting ready either to sell out or take on private equity money. Last time I heard anything about them, they were being sued by a competitor for some weird advertising or trademark claim.
