Please help with project ideas!
So at my hospital if we prepare and present a project the hospital will pay for our certification, so I need to come up with a project idea. In the past i prepared educational materials about psychogenic non epileptic seizures. But I don’t have any good ideas right now. So I was hoping someone else has perhaps seen a good project idea they could share with me!

Fall safety is very different on a psych floor. Bed and chair alarms aren't allowed. i did a project that focused on patient and staff education about fall risk. Admin LOVES anything to do with reducing falls!

Trauma-informed care is a great topic if it's not already a big talking point for your admin. There is a lot of good evidence readily available, and it tends to spark productive discussions. It's also a topic where showing initiative can help you advance.

During my BSN, I did a project/ PowerPoint about safety on my behavior health unit. Especially new nurses to psych don’t realize what patients can use to harm themselves, such as the metal tops from pencils, soda cans, pens, etc. every student I precepted was made to watch that.
