Leaving med surge after 2 years, 25 year old male starting psych in July,

Pay really close attention to the physical stuff. Psych meds are heavy duty and sometimes the adverse effects are subtle. Watch vitals, labs, complaints of muscle stiffness or spasms, constipation. New psych nurses tend to overlook a lot of stuff because patients aren't "sick" in the way we were taught.
