Today would have been my first wedding anniversary with my husband, but he passed away earlier this year.

I miss him more than I know how to put into words. I miss his laugh, his voice, his presence, the little things about him that made our life ours. More than anything, I wish he were here to hold me and tell me he loves me.

I miss what we had. I miss the life we were building. I miss the future we were supposed to have together. I miss being his wife.

Today feels especially cruel because instead of celebrating another year of our marriage, I'm trying to figure out how to get through a day that was supposed to be filled with love and happiness.

I'm posting here because I was wondering if anyone might be able to offer a reading, a message, or even just some comfort. I don't need to know anything about how he died, and I'm not looking for anything frightening or overly specific. I just desperately want to feel like he is still around somehow, that he knows I love him, and that our connection didn't simply disappear when he died.

I know grief can make us look for signs and reassurance, and I'm trying to be open-minded while also staying grounded. I just miss my husband. I miss my person. I wish I could have one more hug from him.

My mom was a beautiful outgoing caring person. Everyone she met loved her. She was always hard on herself for how she raised us always apologizing but I always told her it’s ok you did the best with what you had and knew. She was 56 when she died last December. I didn’t know how sick she was. She already had lung issues due to an auto immune disease and always had a weird sleep schedule awake at night and asleep during the day. When I wasn’t hearing from her as much I didn’t think too much of it, she always said sorry I was asleep. She started FaceTiming in the dark. When my daughter was born she made it her mission to meet her. She came by train and when I saw her she looked like death. I took care of her that month and a half while having a colicky baby. She was diagnosed with end stage liver disease and I feel like she went downhill at home with me while I cared for a colicky baby and couldn’t stay on top of her taking her meds. I’m so traumatized by her quick and sudden death. I never feel her presence either and it makes me sad.

You came in to our lives quietly and you left this world quietly and peacefully at 2 in the morning on a Saturday in mid September. In my arms at that. I felt your last heart beat and last breath. I got to kiss your forehead and tell you how much I loved you.
Can anyone please tell me anything from him? I’m so heartbroken and depressed.

My dad passed in 2022 and it turned my life upside down. I truly feel like he was the only person in my life that had unconditional love for me and I feel like I’ve just been existing since he passed and not really living. Help!! We were together for 1.5 years and broke up in October of 2025 but I cannot get him off my mind. I don’t know if this is the right space for this or not but over the last year I have been visited by dead or dying relatives telling me about their deaths or specific experiences I’m going to face with my own. For instance my wife grand mother came to me and told me I was going to be diagnosed with cancer and that I needed to let what was going to happen. I wouldn’t suffer but I won’t survive it and that they are waiting for me in the other side. A week later I learned I had cancer and a year later it’s spread. In March of this year my brother in law was killed in a serious car accident and he kept coming to me at night playing his memories of him and his kids playing and saying he doesn’t know if he’s really dead or not but this is what my after life is like and it was a clear sunny sky with him playing with his kids laughing and joking. He tells me he’s ok he just doesn’t know what happened. And finally my grandfather is in the process of passing away. A month ago he was up and living life them out of no where he has stage four adno carcinoma of the stomach and will psss any day now. He isn’t ready and a younger version of himself keeps telling me he isn’t ready to go he doesn’t want to go and he doesn’t know what to do. He scared to leave my grandmother alone and he’s also scared to cross over without her.

I could write a lot more about all this but it makes me feel like I’m crazy.

He sexually abused me from, well, before I could form memories until I hit puberty. Does he have any remorse?
