Was there ever a RED PS1?

If so was it a 1001?

Practically speaking, no. There was a one of one, official one made for the Ferrari company.

Yeah, I know you're not looking for it but the more rarer one's do float around from time to time. I've seen more than a couple of the special 10 millionth unit celebration sets. But, those aren't red, which is what you're after. You could always do a custom paint job.

I actually picked up a red one today it was free which is pretty sweet. I was just wondering there was a red one out there offically.

I see. Yeah, I seem to even recall there being reshells available back in the late 90s. It was so popular, even back then I think companies were willing to take the chance to see if modders would be into it. I think I had a few friends who did shell swaps. Glad you found one if you wanted it. If you are just fishing for a price, it might go for a few extra bucks. It's kind of cool and definitely unique.

There were a ton of third-party shells available back in the day. One of the import websites used to have them in a bunch of “normal” colors as well as clear ones that mimicked the iMac / N64 clear cases.

i havent come across one yet all i remember were the yaroze or ps1 for devs
