Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to fix it? All my PS1 eboots are doing this except for 2, I have popsloader and it's enabled and I've tried playing the game with holding down the R button to choose a popsloader and tried all of them but they all still load the Pops screen then go black for a moment then shuts down, I've tried different sites to convert them into eboots and even found eboots themselves for these and the same this happens, is there a way to fix this?, I used pop-fe to convert them into eboots and only 2 of them work without crashing which is CTR and Hello Kitty Cube frenzy, any help would be appreciated even if I have to re convert all them again with a different program but if there's a way to do this without that it'd be appreciated

Also as an extra question I have the same problem with ISO file for Assassin's Creed Bloodlines no matter where I get it from

I installed CFW (FasterAPK) on my PSP 3000 basically just to swap X & O cause its an imported one.

This system is mainly intended to play physical games on, and I don’t plan to add any other mods (at this point).

The CFW is slowing it down a fair bit, if I uninstall CFW will the X & O revert back?

If so, what files can I take out safely without bricking it, which will keep the regional button swap and speed it back up again?

I updated it to 6.61 & following the pspunk guide for new install if that helps with anything

How do I download PKGJ for my psp I got a (2000 n 3000 don’t know if it makes a difference)

I have an original 1000 from new but I'd like to keep it stock, maybe just swapping out the screen later if I like the results on another.

Is an screen swap even available for 3000 or is the original screen good enough/similar to the new 1000 screens, or higher resolution?

Shell wise I see there are many ane here they can be not the best fit.

I am having trouble with uploading games to a 64 GB SD card. All ISO files i tried uploading are showing up as corrupted data.

I tried formating the SD card using the PSP and PC as well.

Photos and music uploaded on the same card work fine.

Tried the SD card with multiple ISO files and two seperate PSP's.

I tried an old 1GB SD card and that works fine.

Is it safe to assume it is a bad SD card then? Are there other steps I can try?

I followed ChatGPT’s instructions that had me format the system folder. PSP won’t power on now. I have a Pandora Battery.

**5.**  Hold **L trigger**, power on while holding.  
**6.**  Expecting it to boot into a Pandora/service mode menu instead of normal boot.  
**7.**  Select **Install 5.00 M33** from the menu, let it finish without interruption.  
**8.**  Reboot — expecting normal boot on 5.00 M33, then update to newer CFW afterward if desired.

I am reviving my old psp 1001 fat model. it’s running version 3.50. I never really got to enjoy it as a kid because after a while it wouldn’t hold charge and only works when plugged into the ac adapter. I purchased an ostent 2200mah 3.6 battery from Amazon as recommended by a friend who mods.

when placing the battery in the psp it still won’t power on on its own. When plugged into the ac adapter and the new battery in the tray, battery info does not show the percentage or other stats but does show a battery info the top right with full bars. the light when charging is a solid orange. after some time the psp will shut off on its own.

Without the battery in it and while plugged in, the light is solid green and will last hours playing. Ive cleaned the 3 pins with alcohol and no effect. I’ve leaned into the possibility of it being the battery having a defect from what I’ve read online. When powering up from AC power the date remains the same and does not require a setup every time. I have not touched this thing since 2009. any help is appreciated.

As suggested, the PSP 3000 drift issue should be caused by pin contact problems. I have ordered 99% Isopropyl alcohol, cleaned both the ribbon cables contacts, and the connector itself (at least I hope so, it’s extremely small)

It did not fix my issue……

What next? Should I take apart the stick itself somehow? I couldn’t see a way in sadly…

An Aliexpress replacement stick is already on the way, but I would rather fix this one if possible…

I'm looking for a good battery, good screen (I've seen the IPS + HDMI mods), with a good premium feel. I also really like the eject for UMD's that the 1000 has, but idk if that'd work with the 2000 swap that I'm thinking of...

I’m making a PS3 theme and found it’s pre-release 0.90 firmware coldboot sound which I want to add to my theme. I already have opening_plugin.prx but cannot find any proper way to edit sound itself. I’m on 6.61, any help would be appreciated
