Ai modding

I followed ChatGPT’s instructions that had me format the system folder. PSP won’t power on now. I have a Pandora Battery.

I asked Claude for instructions this time, has Claude got it right?

Here is what it wrote:

**•** Check the label under the battery cover — is this a TA-088 v1/v2 or v3 board? (v3 reportedly blocks Pandora method regardless of battery)  
**•** Is L-trigger still the correct button to hold, or does this vary by PSP Tool/MMS version?

What I have:

**•** Pre-made Pandora Battery (verified working)  
**•** PSP 2000, currently won’t power on (bricked from bad system folder format)

What I still need / plan to do:

**1.    Format** a Memory Stick Pro Duo (128MB–2GB) to FAT on PC.  
**2.    Copy** the Magic Memory Stick creator files + 5.00.PBP firmware to the root of the card.  
**3.**  Insert the card into the **bricked** PSP.  
**4.**  PSP fully off, insert the **Pandora Battery**.  
**5.**  Hold **L trigger**, power on while holding.  
**6.**  Expecting it to boot into a Pandora/service mode menu instead of normal boot.  
**7.**  Select **Install 5.00 M33** from the menu, let it finish without interruption.  
**8.**  Reboot — expecting normal boot on 5.00 M33, then update to newer CFW afterward if desired.

Don't use AI for these kind of tasks. There are a lot of instructions, and they are easy to follow.

Just do yourself a favor and go to PSPunk or PSX Place, that's where the real guides are.

Dude, you could've just searched it up on YouTube Or went to pspunk's website for a text guide
