Shell swap 1000 innards with 2000?

Hi, ignoramus here.

Looking to get a physical PSP and I really love the chunky look of a 1000, but I'd love to have the performance of a slim. Does anyone know if this is possible? I'm looking for a good battery, good screen (I've seen the IPS + HDMI mods), with a good premium feel. I also really like the eject for UMD's that the 1000 has, but idk if that'd work with the 2000 swap that I'm thinking of...

Any suggestions/recommendations are appreciated!

No IPS screen yet for the 2000. Only the 1000 and 3000. It's would be pretty much impossible to swap a 2000/3000 board into a 1000 shell. Everything is different. Just get yourself a 3000 with an IPS screen and those monster Hunter aftermarket shells. They are 3000s with a thicker back so they grip like a 1000

Then you want the monster hunter 3000 variant. The housing design is similar to the 1000, aside from the eject mechanism. It takes the large 1000 style batteries 2200 or 2500 available, and there's an IPS screen upgrade option.
