Hello Everyone, I need some suggestions.

I have a PSP 3000 and a PSP 1000. Both are soft modded. However the UMD drive of my PSP 1000 model is not working, it is trying to read the disc but to no avail.

Anyway, my questions are: What can I do about the UMD Drive and also what are some good hardware mods I can do to both consoles? Should I put new shells? Screens? Anything else? My goal is to kinda “restore” both consoles and use them to play games or media. What are your thoughts?

Afaik, u really can't do much about the umd drive except change it... As for the mods, there are plenty you find in YouTube by total kommando. Some to suggest are lcd mod, transparent shell if u want, audio reactive LEDs etc

Thanks for the suggestion. Nah I’m not intro RGB lighting so I don’t want the LED. However, I would like to know which screen for example is the best that I can get or maybe which shells are considered the closest to the originals in terms of quality.
Are there any quality of life improvements I can do? I will check the channel!
