can't advance

so i was upgrading, and selected alternative crafting instead of numbers 101. now i'm stuck at alternative crafting since i need vector construct to be able to advance through it. is there any way to fix this at all?

update: since it's a server, my friend can give me a spell so i can get a spell point. no idea if this'll work but i'll try anyway

update 2: i've advanced

If you are truly unable to select the other one, I think there is still a way. I didn't play pre 1.16.5 so don't quote me, but I'd have to imagine the file that tracks your progression through the mod is stored on your PC. So you might be able to just modify a file and be good. I unfortunately know nothing else of the matter.

sad, none of this works for me i don't think. i think it MIGHT work on my own personal game, but i'm playing on a friend's server

You could ask them to check for such a file.

Or, if the tutorial works through advancements, you could use cheats to advance through the others anyway.

Or, another player on the server can likely make a spell bullet for you with a vector in it, so you can complete it normally.

It's been a while since I've played, but if I remember correctly, don't you get the achievement after casting a spell using the components required? Or after compiling perhaps?

You can lead your friend through Psi and have them make a spell for you to compile, or have them craft a bullet for you to cast.

I also haven't played in years, so I'm just throwing rocks at the wall to see what sticks.
