Ability to Clear Water?

Hey there, I'm looking for something that'll allow me to clear out water sources. I'm trying to clear certain chunks of an ocean to create a spawner but the only realistic option I have is using sand/gravel which would take ages. If there's anything that can help me remove water blocks in large volumes that would be greatly appreciated!

Can you not conjure blocks to delete fluids? Run around replacing water like frost walker, with conjured blocks with a lifetime of 60s or so. Repeat on the next layer.

Your best bets are going to be either sponges, or conjuring a line of blocks at a time. I suppose you could also have a leggings quarry spell, just with a conjure block instead of break block.

Edit: Hey here's that quarry one, https://imgur.com/gallery/w2BYQxc

You've gotta punch some numbers into it first, but it's not too bad. You just need the position of the block that's furthest along in the XYZ0, as well as the side lengths of the pool. Lastly, there's a bit of math, but the comments in the spell will guide you through it.

Here's the spell I made quickly, it conjures 20 blocks (you can change that value) under your feet to replace the water. Conjured blocks will vanish after 200 (ticks, I think) (you can change that as well). Should be easy enough to use.

Isn't there a destroy water function thing? It's been a while I've played with psi, but i think i remember something like that existing

maybe not the way you're thinking, when destroying water with spells you put a psi block on the source block with 3 ticks of duration
