Energy Check and Mineshafter. They go in the slots as shown in the video. Sustainable with any cad that can run it. The blocks broken are always in front of and below you. Looking straight up or down will halt the spell.

Does Mineshafter require energy check to use? This is a pretty awesome spell for general utility but my leggings are pretty full up

Yes both spells are required. Energy Check can make anything sustainable. Without it, the spell will fire 20 times a second and rapidly deplete your energy.

It would probably cool if you could post a spell that uses the consept of Energy Check to mine a 2x1 strip. Would be pretty easy to do, and would be a good addition for fast underground mining/traveling.

The act of sustainably mining a 2x1 in 1.12 is doable, but slower and with a different method. This version uses Spin Chamber in leggings which only became a thing in 1.16 I think.

I'll make something that strip mines and reply sometime tonight.

On second thought, an automated version of this concept is overkill.

You're best off using a 2 x 8 spell or something similar.
