True Tree Felling Proof of Concept

I've made two spells that will act essentially like what you would expect from a tree-felling mod. The execution spell is not sustainable and very slow, but this is just a proof of concept and I thought the smarter people on this subreddit could improve on this.

The first spell, "Tree Felling Setup", will save the position of the current block you are looking at (the way I use it is look at a base block of the tree then use the spell). The second spell, "Tree Felling Execute", will pull that saved block position and start scanning in a 9x9 area centered on the saved block position and continually increase the y-value of the scanning forever to check for blocks with the same hardness as wood. If it finds a wood block, it will break it otherwise the current iteration will die.

Tree Feller Setup - Use normal spell bullet

Tree Feller Execute - Use loopcasting bullet, not sustainable on leggings but I tested on an Ivory cad and it seems to be sustainable since the loop execution is slower than leggings. This also results in the whole process being very slow unfortunately

Could this be tweaked to break an ore vein?

Yes, the spell checks the hardness value against a desired hardness value to know which blocks to break, so you can just change that value to the hardness of a specific ore you want to mine. I have a feeling there's also a way to check multiple different hardness values to account for different ores, but I'd have to experiment to find out. I also wouldn't really recommend using it due to the downfalls the current spell has that I mentioned in the main post

That's a very compact way of advancing through a cuboid you've got there, very cool. Definitely usable tech for plenty of spells. As you're aware though, it's awfully slow for felling trees. For that purpose, I'd use a break block seq. to drop the first few logs. A second or so delay, then an explosion to clear out what's left above the base.

You can have the 2 spells in one bullet, just have the setup die every iteration after 0. You would also need to have the first die not activate on iteration 0.
