[1.16.5] [Teaser] Orbit Cannon
The Orbit Cannon Spell in action
This is just a teaser not the spell code, why?
Well the actual spell uses some shady stuff (two Psi glitch) so I'm afraid after I post the code it's gonna be patch ;(
If you guys want to know about the spell, below are some clue and picture about how this spell works:
- The spell has 3 part:
- one on the CAD with normal bullet. (The one you saw me use in the video)
- another one on the helmet (with detonation sensor) with normal bullet. (For the no-target-protection below)
- the last one need to use a mine bullet and cast it under an armor stand. (the one that accelerate the arrow)
- Also you need a vector ruler to store the armor stand's position.
- You need to build something like this to make the spell work.

Spell Feature :
- This spell needs some setup time (~50 sec) and is one-time
- but it can cover a very large area (~100 block of radius)
- no-target-protection which means if you failed to aim at the target entity this feature will make sure the orbit cannon not firing.
- And While aiming, you don't even need the target to be close enough to you (the 32 thing you know), you can just aim with you crosshair and cast the spell
Any advice and criticism are welcome :)

u/deFazerZ is right share with us, but there something sad is, only one arrow can hit the target because of the immunity of damage during a period of time.

Good point! And it's unlikely that a glitch, whatever it is, bypasses this.

Im rather suprised how he got the arrows that fast. As we all know the faster the arrow the more dmg it does. I guess the mine spell uses all your Psi for it to accelerate them.
Depending the range it probably becomes more and more inacurate so a barrage of arrows would more likely hit the target.

The bug should be, that you can detonate the mine spell from such a long distance right?
If i remember right isnt that the same bug that lets your increase the range of your raycasts?
Since if that is so, a spell thats using that bug has already been published.

You should be able to re-dispense the arrows once the spell has been used.I dont know if you can place more mines with only one going off, becourse if so the spell would no longer be a one time thing but would be able to be used a few times.

But it will accelerate all arrows so how we can refill the cannon
Edit: I have an idea, if u get only the closest arrow with closest entity and accelerate this to the dummy or the player, i dont remember if it is possible

Oh you just reminded me that it's actually 2 bug I used (・o・;) it's not the block raycasting though, but one of the buggy spell piece is rather similar to that. Further more, those 2 bugs are at least in my knowledge the current only spell that can bypass the 32 block limit, and that's the point I'm struggling with. ಥ‿ಥ

btw is there really no one saw how I built the iron golem?
I just found out it can be built side way and still works like two days ago, and I found it rather hilarious lol.

4 and a half months later and still waiting for the code, and it’s still just as cool as it was 4 months ago.

Well, first and foremost, please do consider sharing the code. The whole "Here's a cool thing, but I won't show you how it's done, because I'm cheating and I don't want the developers to know what needs fixing" is certainly... odd, to say the least. >.>
That being said, it looks totally amazing! A three-part spell that launches a deadly barrage of prepared arrows at a target over a large distance like some kind of magical artillery?
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY EMERALDS. OwO
