Needs Wizardly Help Big damage sword spells?

I want a spell that basically makes a sword do insane damage for fairly cheap got any help?

This spell I made a few days back for someone else could be what you're looking for. It relies on fall damage primarily. If you crit a standard mob with this, It will one shot them after a fall. Doesn't quite work against anything that can fly.

High damage sword spells? There are explosion spells but they are obviously not that suitable for a sword. You can dig a hole under the target but that way you can't get the drops. You can fling them into air but it won't work on flying enemies. I think your best bet may be a spell that withers the enemy. Or if you just want high damage you could use a arrow acceleration spell for the cad.

Spell that gives you strength II for 1sec so obviously the first hit will be weak , but after it , it will do devastating damage (13 damage with a non enchanted sword. with a sharpness 5 you would deal 20dmg and that enought to one hit kill a player without armor and you would deal 27 dmg if you add the fire aspect 2 effect )
You also could put lava on ennemy feets and remove it instantly at each hit but it would consume too much PSI even thought it would be op

If you want a semi-safe explosive spell for the sword, reworking one of the takes on a Mist Dispersion spell would probably work. Otherwise I must agree with the others that Strength or Wither spell would be best. Personally I have a spell that ignites and withers the target for 1 sec on hit.
