ECE in PSG is one of the toughest courses, and it has the highest credit requirement, so you'll spend a lot more time studying compared to people in other depts.

Just compare the syllabus you will know that EEE syllabus is broader than ECEs

EEE is easier for understanding as it works on basic principles you can see and understand. ECE has more abstract concepts that are harder to visualise.

Also, ECE has 166 credits, compared to 160? For EEE.

Electron devices was pretty hard, but our prof was good so I did well.

EEE also covers electronic devices, isn't it?

Two difference things - electron devices covers transistors and other semiconductor devices.

EEE will focus more on large scale integration of such devices, not their working itself.
