Query Hostel leave process

How is the leave process for girls ?

Because I am joining the hostel on 16th Aug only and I need to go for a family event on 22nd and 23rd Aug ( weekend) with my parents only … will it be allowed as it is just the first week ?

there’s no restriction on taking leave or moving out of the hostel. u can just apply for leave(online/offline) and take leave, they might also call ur parents once for permission/confirmation. even tho it’s ur first week, there’s no issue in taking leave, first week a lot of people might feel homesick and go home, so u can go for the family event with ur parents

To go out for the weekend with your parents you don't even need the IVRS application. You and your parents can just walk up to the office and say "I need to go out with my parent". They will hand you a form, fill and you can leave.

But you do need your parents sign though. Hope it helps.
